About
Hey, I'm Hugo — software engineer coding from a distant civilization. In a small countryside location in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Far from any tech hub, closer to nature than most people would expect from someone thinking about distributed systems all day.
I work with .NET and spend a lot of time thinking about software architecture, distributed systems, and how to build things that don't fall apart under pressure. This blog is where I write down ideas, things I'm exploring, and occasional opinions I can't keep to myself.
Outside of work I'm trying to improve my chess rating (slowly, painfully) and trying to become an athlete (lol) by running and occasionally lift weights.
I also work on open source when I can:
- NaturalCron — cron expression parser for .NET
- JobMaster — job scheduling for .NET
